Belize isn't just a destination for me, it's where my story began.

I was born in Belize City, Belize, in 1961 and immigrated to the United States with my parents and eleven brothers and sisters when I was 11 years old. Growing up in Miami, Florida, I learned the value of family, hard work, and community - values that continue to guide me today.

​

As a young man, basketball played a major role in my life. I wasn't always the strongest student, but the game taught me discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. Those lessons stayed with me long after my playing days ended and helped shape the path that followed.

​

At 26, I joined the United States Marine Corps Reserve, serving as a Lance Corporal for four years of active reserve duty and an additional two years of inactive service. During that time, I also worked as a firefighter, continuing a lifelong commitment to serving others.

​

In 1991, I moved to Arizona, where I met my wife, Ramona, a certified nurse midwife. We married in 1992 and have built a wonderful life together, raising three children and now enjoying the blessings of two grandchildren.

​

In 2001, I founded Joseph's Moving & Storage, a company that proudly served families and businesses throughout Arizona for more than two decades. As Founder and President, I built the business from the ground up, serving customers throughout Arizona until my retirement in February 2023.

​

But throughout every chapter of my life, there was one place I never stopped returning to: Belize.

​

Over the years, I've traveled back to Belize more than 90 times. I've explored its jungles, islands, beaches, reefs, and communities. I've introduced friends and family to the country I love and watched them fall in love with it too. Time and time again, people would ask me the same question:

"Patrick, why aren't you in the travel business?"

​

The truth is, I've always been passionate about creating memorable experiences and bringing people together. Belize Signature Journeys was born from that passion.

​

Today, I personally host each journey alongside trusted local professionals with long-standing relationships I've built over decades. My goal isn't simply to show you Belize. It's to help you experience it the way locals do; with authentic connections, unforgettable adventures, exceptional hospitality, and the confidence that every detail has been thoughtfully planned.
